Charter Schools USA is seeking a dedicated School Bus Driver to join our transportation team in Louisiana. You will operate school buses, ensuring safe transport of students and staff while adhering to schedules and safety protocols.

The role requires a valid CDL with endorsements, CPR and medical certification, and a clean driving record. You will participate in safety trainings and report any equipment issues promptly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid CDL with Passenger and School Bus endorsements required.
• Clean driving record per Safe Driver Plan.
• CPR certification required.
• School Bus Driver Certificate required.
• Medical Examiner's Certificate required.

Responsibilities

• Operate school buses in compliance with laws, rules, and policies.
• Safely pick up, transport, and discharge students and staff per schedule.
• Assist students boarding/alighting and secure wheelchairs when needed.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections; report defects.
• Coordinate with principals and transportation supervisors on disciplinary matters.
• Transport students on field trips and to events; maintain discipline on bus.
• Maintain bus appearance and keep accurate operation records.
