Job summary

The Brewton City Board of Education seeks a school bus driver to safely transport students on established routes in Brewton, AL.

You will perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, maintain a clean bus, enforce student safety, and complete required reports and trainings as part of a full-time role.

This position requires a valid Alabama bus license and CDL with P/S endorsement, a current ALDOT health card, and a clean driving record, with compensation and hours established by the system.

Qualifications

• Must hold Alabama bus license and CDL with P/S endorsement.
• Maintain ALDOT Health Card as required by law.
• Possess and maintain an acceptable motor vehicle record.
• Pass background clearance as specified by state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates support for the school system, its vision, goals, and priorities.
• Adheres to traffic laws and driving safety rules.
• Prepares and submits monthly bus reports as required.
• Prepares and submits accident reports when involved in an accident.
• Performs daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections and records.
• Maintains a clean bus and discipline on the bus.
