Job summary

Cherry Creek Careers is recruiting a Transportation Operations Supervisor to oversee all bus drivers and aides, ensuring routes and trips are completed safely and on time. You will review GPS data and onboard video to enforce performance and safety standards.

This role requires a Class B CDL with P and S endorsements within 90 days, a clean driving record, and the ability to manage scheduling, training, and disciplinary actions.

Qualifications

• Criminal background check and fingerprinting required
• High School Equivalency diploma required
• Two years of professional work experience
• Colorado CDL Class B with P and S endorsements within 90 days to maintain this position
• Good driving record required
• Ability to meet insurance requirements
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Advanced oral and written communication skills
• Knowledge of school buses and safety equipment
• Ability to deescalate conflicts with drivers, parents, and students
• Ability to work both independently and with others
• Ability to collaborate with supervisors, staff, students, and the community
• Commitment to student safety and customer service
• Ability to accommodate varying schedules and locations

Responsibilities

• Supervise and evaluate all bus drivers and assistants; manage staffing and issues
• Ensure on-time routes and safe student transport; monitor GPS and video evidence
• Administer the student management program; conduct employee evaluations
• Respond to incidents; follow accident protocols and safety procedures
• Coordinate with district staff and parents; attend meetings and seminars
• Handle after-hours on-call responsibilities
