Qualifications

• 3+ years in transportation, school bus, fleet, or operations management.
• Strong scheduling and organizational skills.
• Experience with school transportation and transportation regulations.
• Proficiency in Excel and scheduling software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all daily school bus operations and route execution
• Build and manage driver schedules, route coverage, and backup plans
• Coordinate with dispatch to ensure on-time performance
• Serve as a primary operational point of contact for school clients, administrators, and transportation partners
• Maintain strong, professional communication with clients regarding route changes, service updates, delays, and issue resolution
• Build and strengthen client relationships through responsiveness, accountability, and proactive communication
• Assist HR with recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding drivers
• Work with payroll to ensure accurate driver hours and reporting
• Ensure compliance with DOT, PennDOT, school district, and safety regulations
• Monitor driver attendance, performance, and accountability
• Collaborate with fleet maintenance on bus readiness and service schedules
• Support client communication for service adjustments and operational needs
• Develop operational systems to support company growth
