New Braunfels Chamber is seeking a skilled mechanic to manage preventive maintenance and repairs for district buses and vehicles. The role requires two years of mechanic experience, CDL Class B with P&S endorsements (or ability to obtain within 30 days), and DOT license eligibility within 90 days.

Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing electrical, HVAC, and engine systems, maintaining detailed records in Dossier, and ensuring safety standards. Occasional off-hours may be required.

Qualifications

• Must have at least two (2) years previous experience as a Mechanic.

Responsabilités

• Performs line maintenance and repairs on district vehicles including tires, fluids, brakes, exhausts, lights and steering.
• Diagnoses fleet vehicles and performs repairs on electrical systems, air conditioning, brakes, engine and transmissions.
• Operates buses and other vehicles in a safe and efficient manner.
