Job summary

Qualifications

• Two years experience as a mechanic.
• CDL required or with passenger/school bus endorsements.
• Texas Bus Driver Certification required or in process.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical repairs on district vehicles to ensure safety and performance.
• Drive school bus as substitute driver when needed.
• Maintain records of repairs and parts used.
• Use diagnostic tools to identify problems and plan repairs.
• Assist with preventive maintenance and minor bodywork.
