AVONDALE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL DISTRICT is seeking a Bus Driver Trainee to complete the training required for Arizona School Bus Driver Certification. The program includes classroom hours, behind-the-wheel practice, road skills testing, and DPS-certified instruction with minimal out-of-pocket costs.

Qualifications

• Arizona driver’s license with at least one year of driving experience.
• Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance card.
• CPR/First Aid certification and medical/physical testing.
• Ability to work independently or in a team.
• Pass a drug screen annually.
• Lift up to 50 pounds.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Understand and comply with traffic laws.
• Meet CDL and DPS Student Transportation requirements within 60 days.
