Job summary

Pitt County Schools is seeking a School Bus Driver to ensure the safe transportation of students. Duties include driving a school bus, maintaining order and discipline, and performing safety inspections. Ideal candidates must hold a high school diploma and be able to obtain a Commercial Driver's License.

This position requires compliance with state and federal regulations, as well as participation in training programs. The term of employment spans 180 school days with a 90-day probationary period.

Qualifications

• Must be able to obtain a Commercial Driver's License with an 'S' restriction.
• Must pass medical examination and physical performance evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Drive a school bus safely and professionally.
• Maintain order and discipline in accordance with school policy.
• Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
