Qualifications

• Must meet NC School Bus Certification requirements and Pitt County Board of Education Policy.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a CDL with school bus S restriction.
• Must successfully complete a medical examination per NC DMV rules.
• Must successfully complete Physical Performance Evaluation per NC DMV rules.

Responsibilities

• Drive school bus safely and professionally.
• Maintain order and discipline of students per district policy.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report defects.
• Comply with all Federal, State and local laws and policies.
• Maintain logs and complete reports as required.
• Participate in training and workshops.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
