The role includes daily vehicle inspections, managing student behavior, and documenting routes and incidents, with the expectation of working at least 32 hours weekly and evenings or weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience operating large passenger vehicles.
• Ability to manage student behavior.
• Must be over 21 years old; able to pass alcohol and drug tests.

Responsibilities

• Drives a school bus safely to and from homes, campuses, and field trips on schedule.
• Maintains order and discipline among passengers; documents serious incidents.
• Performs daily safety and operation inspections of the vehicle.
• Oversees loading/unloading, ensures proper release to authorized individuals, and checks seat belts.
• Maintains mileage, routing, maintenance, and time schedule records; notifies delays.
• Ensures credentials (CDL, Medical Card, Region One) are updated per policy.
