You will inspect buses daily, operate standard routes, assist with loading and unloading, report maintenance needs, and maintain records while upholding discipline and safety for every rider.

Qualifications

• Requires a valid Motor Vehicle Operator's license.
• Requires a current CDL with Passenger and School Bus endorsements.
• High school diploma or GED required; bilingual preferred (English/Spanish).

Responsibilities

• Safely drives a school bus on designated routes and field trips.
• Inspects bus daily to ensure safe operation.
• Loads and unloads students and maintains discipline per district policies.
• Records route timings and safety checks; reports any incidents.
• Maintains bus cleanliness and performs routine maintenance coordination.
• Answers emergencies calmly and follows evacuation procedures.
• Attends trainings and professional development opportunities.
