Job summary

Applitrack is seeking a School Bus Driver to safely transport students and staff to and from school, field trips, and activities. You will conduct pre-trip inspections, operate the bus on scheduled routes, and ensure all passengers are accounted for at the end of each trip.

The role requires a CDL Class B with Passenger and School Bus endorsements, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to maintain calm, orderly conduct among students. Experience in a school district is preferred.

Qualifications

• CDL class B with Passenger and School Bus endorsement.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Bilingual, English/Spanish, preferred.
• Successful prior experience as a school bus driver.

Responsibilities

• Safely drives a school bus on designated routes and schedules, loading and unloading students at stops.
• Transports students, teachers and others on field trips or activities.
• Inspects bus daily to ensure safe operation and cleanliness.
• Cleans and refuels bus as needed and maintains communication equipment.
• Reports mechanical issues, accidents or violations promptly.
• Maintains order and discipline per district policies and procedures.
