Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking a part-time bus driver to transport students and volunteers to and from the LifeWise site in Indiana. The role requires a clean driving record, a current driver’s license, and potentially a CDL with a passenger endorsement for larger vehicles.

A mature Christian faith and church involvement are expected. Responsibilities include adhering to traffic laws, keeping the bus clean and safe, performing regular inspections, refueling when necessary, and fostering a calm,

Qualifications

• Clean driving record with no at-fault accidents or traffic citations within the last five years.
• Age 21-80; for drivers over 75 additional documentation may be required.
• Regular driver's license; CDL with (P) endorsement for 15+ passenger vehicles when applicable.

Responsibilities

• Transport children and LifeWise volunteers to and from the LifeWise site.
• Obey traffic laws and maintain vehicle cleanliness and safety.
• Perform regular bus inspections and refuel as needed.
• Create a safe environment for children and assist with boarding/alighting.
