Job summary

Oregon Child Development Coalition (OCDC) is seeking a dedicated school bus driver to transport Head Start participants safely to and from activities in Hood River, Oregon. You will ensure all safety standards are followed and maintain required rosters and logs.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading children and families, conducting pre-trip inspections, and enforcing seat belt and car seat usage to protect riders while upholding program policies.

Qualifications

• Current Oregon School Bus Driver Certificate is required.
• Ability to follow safety and transportation regulations to protect children.
• Commitment to child safety and positive, calm behavior around families.

Responsibilities

• Transport program children and parents to activities safely and on time.
• Maintain daily roster and logs; perform pre-trip inspections and report issues.
• Assist with loading/unloading children and ensure proper use of car seats and seat belts.
