Job summary

Oregon Child Development Coalition (OCDC) in Oregon seeks a dedicated School Bus Driver to transport program children and families safely to center activities, and to and from home, in accordance with state and organizational policies.

The role requires maintaining daily pre-trip inspections, supervising loading and unloading, using car seats and seat belts, and collaborating with Bus Assistants to ensure a calm, safe ride. Current Oregon School Bus Driver Certificate is required.

Qualifications

• Current Oregon School Bus Driver Certificate is required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe and timely transportation for children and families to/from activities.
• Perform daily pre-trip inspections and report maintenance needs.
• Assist with safe loading/unloading and proper use of car seats and seat belts.
• Maintain roster logs and ensure all passengers are buckled and supervised.
• Collaborate with Bus Assistant and management to ensure safety and compliance.
