Job summary

Oregon Child Development Coalition (OCDC) seeks a dedicated Bus Driver to transport program children and parents to center activities while upholding the highest safety standards. The role involves pre-trip inspections, safe loading/unloading, and maintaining rosters and logs in alignment with state and agency requirements.

Applicants must hold an Oregon School Bus Driver Certificate and demonstrate reliable, compassionate communication with children and families.

Qualifications

• Must hold Current Oregon School Bus Driver Certificate.
• Uphold safety standards and compliance with state/federal regulations.
• Ability to communicate with children, parents, and staff to ensure safe transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and timely transportation for children and families.
• Assist in loading/unloading and ensure proper seating and seat belts.
• Perform pre-trip inspections and report maintenance concerns.
• Maintain records and rosters as required by program guidelines.
• Support in evacuation drills and emergency procedures.
• Collaborate with Bus Assistant to apply safety and behavioral policies.
