Job summary

Oregon Child Development Coalition (OCDC) is seeking a dedicated Bus Driver to transport program children and parents to activities while upholding the highest safety standards. The role requires operating school vehicles according to state and organizational policies and maintaining daily logs.

You will collaborate with county staff, ensure children are seated and buckled, and participate in safety drills and routine vehicle maintenance to support a secure learning environment.

Qualifications

• Current Oregon School Bus Driver Certificate.
• Experience operating school buses and transporting children.
• Ability to communicate with children, parents and county staff.
• Commitment to safety and compliance with state/federal regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and timely transportation for children and families.
• Assist with loading/unloading of children and maintaining seating and buckling requirements.
• Perform daily pre-trip inspections and report vehicle issues.
• Maintain roster logs and ensure emergency supplies are available.
• Assist in evacuation drills and maintain communication with staff and families.
