Summit School Services is seeking a Non-CDL Driver in Training to safely transport students to and from school locations. The role starts with training, with progression to a Non-CDL Driver role after completing the program.

The Driver in Training will learn company policies, safety procedures, and end up on our routes with a focus on punctual, secure transport. The position offers a flexible schedule, competitive rates, and opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old (25 for TN School Bus Drivers).
• Must possess/obtain valid state license and endorsements.
• Must pass physical/medical requirements and substance screening.
• Must complete required training.
• Must practice defensive driving and safe work habits.
• Compliance with all driver requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, reliable transportation by operating a school bus or assigned vehicle.
• Maintain on-time performance while ensuring passenger safety.
• Assist passengers during emergencies as required.
• Report incidents per company policy and communicate issues promptly.
• Present a neat, professional appearance and complete paperwork timely.
• Promote goodwill and cooperate with colleagues, students, and parents.
