Duluth Public Schools is seeking a School Bus Driver II to safely transport students to and from school and school-related events, while performing pre-trip inspections and assisting with vehicle maintenance to ensure safe operation.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, a Minnesota driver’s license, and the ability to obtain a CDL with passenger and school bus endorsements. A drug test, DOT physical and background check are required. Starting wage is $24.49/hr with benefits.

Minimum Qualifications

• Requires a minimum of a high school diploma or GED
• or an equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience necessary to successfully perform the essential functions of the work.
• Must possess a valid Minnesota driver's license.
• Ability to obtain CDL license with passenger and school bus endorsements.
• Must be able to pass a drug test, DOT physical and criminal history background check.

Additional Information

• Employer will pay and provide training to obtain CDL license.
• $20.61 per hour with excellent benefits
