Job summary

The Bradenton Dream Center is seeking a Bus Driver contractor to transport students to and from school on a pre-planned route. The role requires a valid Florida CDL Class C with a P endorsement, CPR/First Aid, a DOT physical, and a successful pre-employment background check.

Responsibilities include safe driving, student safety, safety instruction, and enforcing bus rules. A strong work ethic, organization, and communication skills are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• Contractor for the School Year.
• Must be a High School graduate or equivalent.
• Possession of a valid State Driver’s License with Florida CDL Class C or higher and a 'P' endorsement.
• CPR, First Aid, and DOT Physical completed.
• Performance test in bus operations completed.
• Pre-employment background check, fingerprinting, and drug test required.

Responsibilities

• Transport students to and from school on a pre-planned route.
• Drive the bus safely and comply with traffic regulations and procedures.
• Ensure student safety during loading/unloading and transit.
• Instruct students in safety precautions and practices.
• Enforce conduct and safety rules on the bus.
• Report delays, accidents, emergencies, and maintain records.
