Zūm Services, Inc. is hiring a school bus driver in Roanoke, VA to transport students safely to and from school using Zūm’s technology platform. You will operate buses, follow routes, and maintain professional conduct while ensuring student safety throughout each trip.

We welcome both certified CDL holders with P and S endorsements and non-certified drivers who will receive CDL training. The role offers split shifts with nights/weekends as needed and a supportive team focused on community impact.

Formación

• Minimum age 21 years.
• For certified drivers: Valid CDL with P and S endorsements and state requirements for school bus operation; 5+ years of driving experience in a passenger vehicle.
• For non-certified drivers: Valid driver’s license with 5+ years of driving experience in a passenger vehicle.
• CDL training provided for non-certified.

What We're Looking For:

• Minimum age: 21 years
• High school diploma or equivalent
• For certified drivers: Valid CDL with P and S endorsements + additional certifications required by your state for legal school bus operation and 5+ years of driving experience in a passenger vehiclerequired (WAC 392-144-101)
• For non-certified drivers: Valid driver's license with 5+ years of driving experience in a passenger vehicle required (WAC 392-144-101)
• Willingness to obtain CDL (training provided for non-certified)
• Clean driving record and ability to pass background checks and drug screenings
• Ability to work split shifts (AM/PM) daily
• Excellent communication skills and a passion for working with children
