Job summary

Waterloo Central School District invites applications for School Bus Drivers. The permanent, 6 hours/day, 10-month position offers a minimum of $23.50/hour under the WNIEA contract, with health insurance provided immediately upon hire.

The driver will ensure safe student transportation, follow traffic laws, and manage classroom behavior during routes. Applicants must hold a CDL with B, P, and S endorsements, pass a background check, be at least 21 years old, and maintain physical condition

SALARY: Minimum $23.50/hour per WNIEA contract of agreement. Current WNIEA contract additionally provides for FREE Health Insurance immediately upon hire.

Knowledge of driving safety practices and traffic laws and regulations; ability to operate a bus under difficult driving and road conditions; ability to make minor repairs to the vehicle; ability to understand and follow simple oral and written directions; Demonstrated ability to effectively manage children's behavior while earning their respect; mechanical aptitude; mental alertness; dependability;.

Must have CDL with B, P, and S endorsements. Ability to pass Background Check, Minimum 21 Years of age. Physical condition commensurate with the demands of the position.
