Job summary

Butler’s Bus Service in Orleans, VT is seeking a Part‑Time School Bus Driver to transport students to and from school and events. Training is provided for those without a CDL, while existing CDL holders with P & S endorsements are welcome to apply.

The role offers a $1,500 sign-on bonus and weekly pay with guaranteed hours. Pay ranges from $20–$22 per hour, with part-time split shifts (AM/PM) on weekdays only.

Qualifications

• CDL Class B with P & S endorsements, or willingness to obtain (we train)
• Valid DOT medical card or ability to obtain one
• Safe driving record
• Age 21+ with at least 3 years of driving experience
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening
• Effective communication in English (spoken & written)

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students to and from school and events
• Drive assigned local routes
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Maintain a clean, safe vehicle
• Communicate professionally with students, families, and school staff
• Follow all state/local traffic laws and school district policies

Pay & Schedule

• Pay: $20-22/hour
