Job summary

STA Family of Companies is seeking a school bus driver to safely transport students along established routes in Barker, NY. You will receive support from a local management team and training to perform duties with care.

Responsibilities include pre- and post-trip inspections, daily vehicle checks, safe student pick-ups and drop-offs, and participation in monthly safety meetings. Field trips and charter runs may be requested to transport students and other passengers.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Minimum 5 years verifiable driving history.
• Clean driving record within the last 24–36 months.
• Ability and willingness to obtain a CDL.
• Pre-employment background checks, physical, and drug screening.

Come join our team! As a school bus driver, you will have the support of a dedicated, local management team and the training needed to perform your job safely, and with care. Bus drivers are responsible for the safe delivery of students to and from school along set routes, adherence to school bus safety and bus stop safety standards, and daily vehicle inspections, among other duties.
