Job summary

STA Family of Companies is seeking a dependable school bus driver to safely transport students on established routes from Middletown, NY. You will work with a local management team and receive training to perform duties safely and with care.

Responsibilities include route driving, pre- and post-trip inspections, and participation in monthly safety meetings. Opportunities to take field trips or charter runs are available.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Minimum 5 years verifiable driving history.
• Clean driving record within the last 24-36 months.
• Ability and willingness to obtain a CDL.
• Pass Pre-employment screenings.

• Conduct pre-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safe operation.

• As requested to take field trips, activity trips and charter runs to transport students and other passengers.

Come join our team! As a school bus driver, you will have the support of a dedicated, local management team and the training needed to perform your job safely, and with care. Bus drivers are responsible for the safe delivery of students to and from school along set routes, adherence to school bus safety and bus stop safety standards, and daily vehicle inspections, among other duties.

• Pay Range:
  • $24.50 - $27.00 (Car)
  • $27.00 - $29.50 (Class C)
  • $31.25 - $33.75 (Class B w/S & P)
• Paid School Bus Training Program
