Job summary

Cristo Rey Richmond High School is seeking a dedicated Bus Operator in Richmond, VA. You will safely transport students on scheduled routes and to work-study placements, serving as a positive ambassador for the school community.

Responsibilities include pre-/post-trip inspections, adhering to transportation regulations, and maintaining a respectful environment on the bus. CDL, endorsements, and a clean record are required.

Qualifications

• Valid Virginia Class B CDL with P and Air Brake endorsements.
• Clean driving record and ability to pass DOT physical, drug screening, criminal background check, and TB screening.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students on scheduled morning and afternoon routes.
• Drive students to and from work study placements.
• Transport students to athletic events, field trips, and school activities.
• Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Maintain a safe, orderly, and respectful environment on the bus.
• Follow all state and federal transportation regulations.
• Communicate professionally with students, parents, faculty, and staff.
• Report vehicle concerns promptly.
• Complete required documentation and route records.
• Support the mission and values of Cristo Rey Richmond High School.
