Job summary

Beacon Mobility in Methuen, MA is seeking CDL Class B drivers for part-time, split-shift routes serving school transportation.

No CDL? Paid training to obtain one; existing CDL with P&S endorsements may earn a $5,000 sign-on bonus. Weekday-only shifts, no nights, weekends, or holidays, with weekly pay and guaranteed hours.

Qualifications

• Age 21 or older with at least 3 years of driving experience
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening

• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Maintain a clean, safe vehicle
• Communicate professionally with students, families, and school staff

Job Overview

No CDL? No problem. We provide paid training to get you ready to drive school buses. If you already hold a fully licensed CDL Driver (A or B) with P & S endorsements, you can earn a $5,000 sign‑on bonus effective March 6, 2026. The pay rate is $30.39–$36.05 per hour (effective August 24, 2026) with paid training at $20 per hour. Charter/Activity trips earn $27 per hour. This is a part‑time, split‑shift position (AM/PM) on weekdays only, with no nights, weekends, or holidays. You receive weekly pay plus a guaranteed minimum of hours.
