Job summary

Huntington Coach Corporation is hiring drivers to transport students in Nassau and Suffolk County on flexible split shifts. Earn competitive pay with starting rates for van and school bus services, plus comprehensive benefits and CDL training to help you qualify.

We require 21+ years old, 1 year driving, and CDL P&S endorsements (or willingness to obtain via our free training). Be part of a trusted Long Island school-transport team.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old with a minimum of 1 year of driving experience.
• Possess a valid NYS CDL Class A or B with P & S endorsements for buses, or a Class C with P & S endorsements for vans (or willingness to obtain through our free training).
• Be able to pass a drug test and background check, and comply with CDL guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Operate a school bus, van, or SUV to transport students safely and on time.
• Monitor traffic, road conditions, and student behavior for a safe ride.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and report any issues.
• Assist passengers with boarding and exiting as needed.
