Job summary

All--star-Transportatio in Burlington, CT, is looking for a part-time School Bus Driver to safely transport students on assigned routes.

No prior bus driving experience? Paid training helps you earn your CDL and become a confident, professional driver, with opportunities for field trips and charter runs.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Minimum of 5 years of verifiable driving history.
• Clean driving record within the past 24–36 months.
• Ability and willingness to obtain a Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Successfully complete the company's paid training program.
• Pass required pre-employment background checks, drug screening, and other hiring requirements.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students to and from school on assigned routes.
• Pick up and drop off students at designated bus stops.
• Follow all school bus safety and bus stop safety procedures.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional bus environment.
• Attend required monthly safety meetings and training.
• Complete field trips, activity trips, and charter runs as assigned.
