Job summary

Leesel Transportation, located in Bridgeport, Connecticut, is seeking part-time drivers to safely transport students during the school year. The role involves driving assigned local routes, performing vehicle inspections, and maintaining effective communication with students and families.

Pay & Schedule

• Pay: $23.65/hour
• Paid Training: $16.94/hour
• Schedule: Parttime, split shift (AM/PM)
• Weekdays only — no nights, weekends, or holidays
• Weekly pay + guaranteed minimum hours

What You’ll Do

• Safely transport students to and from school and events
• Drive assigned local routes
• Perform pretrip and posttrip inspections
• Maintain a clean, safe vehicle
• Communicate professionally with students, families, and school staff
• Follow all state/local traffic laws and school district policies

Requirements

• CDL Class B (or higher) with P & S endorsements (or willingness to obtain — we train!)
• Valid DOT medical card—or able to obtain one
• Safe driving record
• Age 21+ with at least 3 years of driving experience
• Ability to pass background check & drug screening
• Effectively communicate in English (spoken & written)
