Job summary

New Braunfels Chamber seeks a Transportation Supervisor for Comal ISD Student Transportation Services to develop, implement, and administer school bus behavior policies, coordinating with the safety department to train staff and ensure a safe environment for students on buses.

You will work with campus administrators, parents, and district personnel to manage records, conduct conferences, and supervise complaint investigations while maintaining professional communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred for leadership and policy work.
• Texas School Bus Driver Safety Training certificate or willingness to obtain.
• Certified or willing to obtain TAPT certification as Pupil Transportation Official, Supervisor, Specialist or Trainer.

Responsibilities

• Develop a student discipline management system that results in positive student behavior.
• Collaborate with district staff to maintain uniform discipline and safety on buses.
• Conduct conferences with parents, students, and staff on transportation issues.
• Prepare and administer training for transportation employees on student behavior management.
• Investigate student or parent complaints related to behavior on school buses.
• Maintain compliance with district policies and document required reports in a timely manner.
