Job summary

New Braunfels Chamber is seeking an experienced Transportation Coordinator to oversee field trips, route planning, and communications with district staff and parents. The role ensures safe, on-time service and accurate pupil data handling.

Responsibilities include managing field trips in an intranet system, coordinating drivers, maintaining maps and routing data, and supporting TEA reporting with accuracy and professionalism.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with DOT/TEA awareness.
• CDL with P&S endorsements preferred and clean MOT/DMV record.
• Willingness to certify as a TAPT Pupil Transportation Official or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Oversee field trips, assign drivers, and track bus usage.
• Maintain routing maps and ensure safe, on-time service.
• Communicate policies and changes to district staff, drivers and parents.
• Prepare TEA reports and manage pupil data for transport.
• Provide training on field trip systems to staff.
