Oregon Child Development Coalition (OCDC) in Oregon is looking for a Bus Assistant to help the Bus Driver transport children safely to and from the center. You will supervise riders, ensure children board and exit with authorized persons, and confirm proper seating and buckling while maintaining a calm, educational bus environment.

Qualifications

• No prior education or experience is required for this position.
• Within 6 months from date of hire, must meet Oregon’s Early Learning Divisions requirements for a Teacher Aide II.

Responsabilités

• Assist the Bus Driver to supervise children and ensure no child is left unsupervised.
• Load and unload children safely from the school bus.
• Ensure children enter and exit with authorized persons and are buckled in.
• Maintain bus cleanliness and orderly belongings.
• Participate in transportation safety education and required paperwork.
• Monitor behavior on the bus to support safe and educational activities.
• Provide water or relief on hot days.
