Job summary

Lees Summit R-7 School District Transportation Department is seeking a Bus Monitor/Bus Aide for the 2026-27 school year in Lee's Summit, MO. You will help supervise students, assist with loading/unloading, and support safe transport on scheduled routes and special trips.

Reports to the Transportation Coordinator; requires a High School Diploma, First Aid/CPR, and ability to work with students with varying needs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Pre-employment Physical Exam, First Aid/CPR.
• Ability to work with diverse groups and students with special needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist students with loading and unloading from buses to ensure safety.
• Monitor and reinforce safe riding habits and behavior on and around buses.
• Prepare incident reports and maintain required records.
