Job summary

Normandy Schools Collaborative in Normandy, Missouri is seeking a part-time Bus Monitor to support the driver and ensure a safe, orderly ride for students. You will assist with seating, handle student loading/unloading, and help maintain discipline on the bus.

Responsibilities include reporting behavioral issues, following district policies, and keeping accurate records as required. This role requires strong communication and the ability to work with students of various ages in a school

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills desired.
• Ability to follow safety rules and district policies.
• Capacity to stay calm and professional around students.

Responsibilities

• Assist the bus driver in maintaining discipline while bus is in operation.
• Help with student loading, unloading and seating as required.
• Maintain accurate and timely records and reports as directed by transportation staff.
• Report behavioral issues to the building principal using the designated form.
