Job summary

Beacon Mobility is seeking a School Bus Aide to support the driver and ensure student safety on the route. You will assist with boarding and disembarking, communicate with parents and school staff, and help manage student transitions.

Training is provided and paid. Base payrate is $16.00/hour with a daily guarantee of 4 hours. Beacon Mobility is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion.

Qualifications

• Be able to assist students safely on and off the bus.
• Follow instructions from the bus driver and school staff.
• Must pass background checks and pre-employment screenings.

Responsibilities

• Assist students in safely boarding and disembarking the school bus.
• Communicate with parent/guardians and school officials about student needs and incidents.
• Assist in releasing students to approved individuals and manage student transitions on the route.
• Be observant and report incidents to the driver and supervisor as required.
• Assist in back-up procedures and respond to emergencies per training.
