Job summary

Sam's Busing, a family-oriented transportation company in New Jersey, is hiring School Bus Drivers (CDL Class B with S & P endorsements). We offer full-time and part-time roles with flexible shifts and a $1000 New Hire Bonus.

You will operate buses on scheduled routes, perform pre-trip inspections, assist students, and maintain records. Requirements: valid CDL Class B with S&P endorsements, 30–40 hours weekly, and willingness to train with emphasis on safety.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class B with S&P Endorsements
• Ability to work 30-40 hours per week
• Experience preferred, but we’re happy to train the right person
• Basic mechanical knowledge for vehicle checks
• Strong communication skills (bilingual is a plus)
• Availability to commute to Lakewood, NJ 08701 is required
• A focus on safety and passenger comfort

Responsibilities

• Safely operate school buses on scheduled routes
• Perform pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety
• Keep accurate records of passengers, routes, and any incidents
• Assist students with boarding and disembarking, ensuring their safety
• Communicate with dispatch about any route changes or delays
• Follow all traffic laws and regulations
• Provide excellent customer service to students and parents
• Maintain the cleanliness of the bus inside and out
