Job summary

Sylvania is seeking a Building Supervisor to oversee custodial staff and services for Monroe Elementary and Riverview Early Childhood Center. The role includes directing, supervising, and evaluating staff, and supporting housekeeping, maintenance, and equipment operations.

The position requires a Minnesota First Class Boilers license, a high school diploma or equivalent, and on-site presence. Start ASAP with full-time benefits and 12-month/8-hour day schedule.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minnesota First Class Boilers license required.
• Training or experience in pneumatic controls and heating applications, electrical and mechanical fields.
• Ability to operate all building equipment.
• Ability to direct, supervise, train, and evaluate building custodial staff.
• Ability to communicate and work effectively with principals and Supervisors.

Responsibilities

• General supervisory responsibility for custodial staff and services in the building.
• Direct, supervise, and evaluate building custodial staff.
• Supervise and assist with housekeeping and maintenance of the school building, site, and equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the principal or Buildings and Grounds Director.
