Ampersand Therapy LLC is seeking a Behavior Specialist for the 2026-2027 school year in Brooklyn Park, MN. This full-time role supports students with behavioral needs within school settings.

The position offers competitive pay of $55–$65/hour, W-2 employment with liability insurance, healthcare, 401(k) with company match, licensure/CEU reimbursement, mileage between sites, and ongoing mentorship. Requires a Bachelor’s or Master’s in a relevant field and active Minnesota licensure; BCBA

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Behavior Analysis, Special Education, Psychology, or a related field.
• Active Minnesota Special Education Teacher, Social Worker, or School Psychologist license through PELSB (Tier 3 or 4).
• Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA) also accepted.
• Previous classroom experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Consult and implement PBIS for students.
• Conduct functional behavior assessments.
• Collaborate with school teams to design appropriate programming.
• Implement de-escalation and behavior support strategies while monitoring progress.
• May be required to use restrictive procedures when necessary.
