Job summary

Ampersand Therapy is hiring Behavior Intervention Specialists for the 2026-2027 school year in the Anoka, MN area. We’re seeking passionate professionals for in-person roles at 3–4 district sites, offering both full-time (37.5 hours) and part-time (18 hours) options.

We welcome BCBA-eligible or licensed Special Education teachers and encourage collaboration with school teams to tailor effective programs. Background checks and drug screening are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Education, Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, or related field.
• Active Minnesota Special Education Teacher license through PELSB (Tier 3 or 4) or
• Active BCBA license in Minnesota.
• Experience in classroom setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Consult and implement positive behavior interventions and supports for the students.
• Conduct functional behavior assessments.
• Consult, communicate, and work cooperatively with teams to provide appropriate programming for students.
• Implement PBIS to support student progress, reinforce positive behaviors, de-escalate when needed.
• May be required to use restrictive procedures.
