Job summary

Ampersand Therapy is hiring Behavior Intervention Specialists for the 2026-2027 school year in the Anoka, MN area. These in-person, full-time roles support 3-4 school sites and implement positive behavior interventions and supports for students.

Applicants must hold an active Minnesota Special Education license (Tier 3 or 4) or an active Minnesota BCBA license. Background checks and drug screening are required. Competitive pay and benefits accompany this role.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active Minnesota Special Education license through PELSB (Tier 3 or 4) or an active Minnesota BCBA license.
• Experience in a classroom setting is preferred.
• Must pass a background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Consult and implement positive behavior interventions and supports for students.
• Conduct functional behavior assessments.
• Consult, communicate, and work cooperatively with teams to provide appropriate programming.
• Implement PBIS to support student progress and de-escalate challenging behaviors.
• May be required to use restrictive procedures when necessary.
