Job summary

Souderton Area School District’s Souderton Area High School seeks a Behavior Specialist to conduct functional behavior assessments and write positive behavior support plans within the MTSS framework. The role involves collaboration with Core Teams and direct student supports.

Required BCBA/BCABA certification or eligibility, Master’s in a related field, and experience with autism and emotional/behavioral needs. Full benefits and structured IEP involvement are provided.

Qualifications

Must hold a BCBA or BCABA license or be eligible for certification.
Master’s Degree from an institution specializing in Behavioral Intervention/Support.
Experience working with autism spectrum students and students with emotional/behavioral needs.

Responsibilities

Participate as Core Team member in MTSS interventions.
Design and monitor positive behavioral support plans.
Consult with classroom teachers on behavioral issues.
Train staff in data collection procedures and intervention strategies.
Analyze data to determine functions of behaviors and adjust plans.
