Job summary

Boys & Girls Club Fox Valley Inc seeks an Unit Director to lead school-based club operations, oversee programs, staff supervision, facilities, and community relations. The role focuses on youth development, equity, trauma-informed practice, and continuous improvement across all sites.

The director will guide strategic planning, ensure grant compliance, manage budgets, and foster teamwork with school partners to deliver high-impact programs for children and teens.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education, Human Services, or a related field.
• At least 3 years’ experience in a Boys & Girls Club or similar organization planning and supervising activities.
• Knowledge of youth development principles, behavior management, outcome evaluation, and program management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the implementation and delivery of operations, programs, services, and activities.
• Motivate staff to create a welcoming environment and optimal Club Experience.
• Ensure collaboration between school site administration and the Boys & Girls Club.
• Plan and execute programs to ensure grant compliance and sustainability.
• Monitor and evaluate progress of strategic initiatives and adjust as needed.
• Manage budget, expenditures, and ensure resources support program delivery.
• Develop community relationships to advance the organization’s mission.
• Promote equity and trauma-informed practices across operations.
