Job summary

AWARE is hiring a Treatment Service Specialist in Montana to provide direct services to children with special needs in the school setting. You will collaborate with parents, teachers and school personnel to develop and implement individualized plans.

You will communicate behavioral observations to the treatment team, participate in meetings, and use a wrap-around approach to ensure the child's success in school and home settings. Competitive benefits accompany this role.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in a human services field preferred; equivalency considered with history.
• Computer literacy including EMR systems and basic software.
• Strong written and oral communication as a team member.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; customer-facing experience helpful.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct services to children with special needs in the school setting.
• Collaborate with parents, teachers, and school personnel on plans.
• Communicate observations to the treatment team and join team meetings.
• Use wrap-around approach to support child success at school and home.
• Help youth develop coping, social, independent living, and problem-solving skills.
