Job summary

AWARE Inc. in Stevensville, MT, is seeking a Treatment Service Specialist to provide direct services to children with special needs in the school setting.

This full-time role collaborates with parents, teachers, and school staff to develop and implement individualized plans and to monitor progress. You will document observations for the treatment team, participate in meetings, and apply a wrap-around approach to support the child’s success at school and at home.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in a Human Services related field preferred.
• Computer literacy and EMR system use required.
• Strong oral and written communication and teamwork.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Montana driver’s license or ability to obtain one.
• Background check clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct services to children with special needs in the school setting.
• Collaborate with parents, teachers, and school personnel to develop and implement individualized plans.
• Communicate behavioral and emotional observations to the treatment team and participate in team meetings.
• Utilize a wrap-around approach to support the child’s success in school and home settings.
• Assist youth in developing coping, social, independent living, and problem-solving skills.
