Job summary

AWARE Fromberg, MT seeks a Treatment Service Specialist to provide direct services to children with special needs in the school setting, collaborating with parents, teachers, and school personnel to develop individualized plans.

You will use a wrap-around approach to support the child's success in school and home, help youth develop coping and living skills, and report observations to the treatment team. We offer competitive compensation and a supportive, inclusive workplace.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Human Services preferred; equivalency considered based on work history, education, and volunteer experience.
• Must have computer literacy and experience with EMR systems.
• Strong oral and written communication to report observations and learn resident care methods.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct services to children with special needs in the school setting.
• Collaborate with parents, teachers, and school personnel to develop and implement individualized plans.
• Communicate behavioral and emotional observations to the treatment team and participate in team meetings.
• Utilize a wrap-around approach to ensure the child's success in school and home settings.
• Assist youth in developing coping skills, social/recreational skills, independent living skills, mediation and conflict resolution skills.
