Job summary

Burrell, Inc. in Moberly, MO is seeking a School-Based Therapist to provide individual, family, and group therapy within school settings. You will conduct assessments, render diagnoses, and develop individualized treatment plans grounded in evidence-based practices.

You will collaborate with internal teams and community partners to deliver high-quality behavioral health care across diverse populations. New grads encouraged to apply for a sign-on bonus and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology or related field.
• Active licensure or license-eligible (e.g., LPC, LCSW, LMFT).
• Willing to pursue licensure in additional states as needed.
• Comfortable providing telehealth services; training provided.
• Experience with co-occurring disorders preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, group, and family counseling tailored to client needs.
• Complete intakes, screenings, and comprehensive assessments within timelines.
• Determine and document diagnostic impressions and establish treatment plans.
• Deliver services aligned with evidence-based practices and standards.
• Maintain accurate documentation of services, assessments, and plans.
• Participate in case staffings, treatment planning, and crisis intervention as needed.
• Collaborate with billing and other departments to ensure eligibility and authorizations.
• Support transitions in care through discharge planning and coordination.
• Educate and provide clinical guidance to team members when appropriate.
• Represent the agency professionally in the community and promote engagement.
• Adhere to training, accreditation, and ethical standards; perform additional duties as assigned.
