Job summary

InspireKids is seeking a School-Based Therapist to deliver individual therapy in partner schools for children ages 4–12. The role involves collaborating with families and a multidisciplinary team to support emotional and behavioral progress.

Full-time day shift, Monday–Friday during school hours, with a competitive salary and benefits. The school calendar option may be available; state licensure in Ohio is required and transportation is needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Social Work or Master's degree in counseling.
• Licensed in Ohio (LPC, LPCC, LSW, LISW, MFT, IMFT, CT, SWT, MFTT, etc.).
• 1+ years of mental health experience, preferably with children.
• Play-based, trauma-informed, and behavioral interventions preferred.
• Ability to build meaningful connections with children and families.
• Crisis navigation with calm and clarity.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual therapy services in a school setting using developmentally appropriate, evidence-based practices.
• Lead individual psychotherapy sessions with clients and/or families.
• Collaborate with parents and caregivers to support progress at home.
• Provide crisis intervention and safety planning when needed.
• Work with a multidisciplinary team for a whole-child approach.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
