Job summary

InspireKids in Garfield Heights, OH is hiring an After School Group Therapist to join our outpatient clinical team. You will deliver group therapy to children aged 4–12 using developmentally appropriate, evidence-based practices and collaborate with families.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 10:30 am–6:30 pm, full-time day shift with no evenings or weekends. Compensation: $60,000–$70,000 annually plus a performance bonus, plus benefits including health, dental and vision insurance, a 401K, PTO,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Social Work or Master's in Counseling.
• Licensed in Ohio (LPC, LPCC, LSW, LISW, MFT, IMFT, CT, SWT, MFTT, etc.).
• 1+ year of mental health experience, preferably with children.
• Play-based, trauma-informed, and behavioral interventions preferred.
• Ability to build meaningful connections with children and families.
• Comfort navigating crisis situations with calm and clarity.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Complete assessments, create treatment plans, and monitor progress.
• Lead social-emotional skill-building groups and therapeutic activities.
• Partner closely with parents and caregivers to support progress at home.
• Provide compassionate crisis intervention and safety planning when needed.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team dedicated to a whole-child approach.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
