Job summary

InspireKids is hiring a School-Based Therapist in the greater Cleveland area to serve children ages 4–12 within partner schools. This is a full-time, day-shift role with Monday–Friday school hours and an optional school calendar.

You will provide individual therapy, develop treatment plans, and collaborate with families in a multidisciplinary team, applying developmentally appropriate, evidence-based practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Social Work or Master’s degree in counseling is required.
• Licensed in Ohio (LPC, LPCC, LSW, LISW, MFT, IMFT, CT, SWT, MFTT, etc.).
• 1+ years of mental health experience, preferably with children.
• Preferred experience with play-based, trauma-informed, and behavioral interventions

Responsibilities

• Complete assessments, create and review treatment plans, and monitor clinical progress.
• Lead individual psychotherapy sessions with assigned clients and/or families.
• Partner closely with parents and caregivers to support progress at home.
• Provide compassionate crisis intervention and safety planning when needed.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team dedicated to a whole-child approach.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
